This website aims to conform to grade "AA" of the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS X 8341-3:2016 "Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities - Information and communications equipment, software and services - Part 3: Web content" (hereinafter referred to as "JIS X 8341-3"). The goal is to comply with grade "AA" of JIS X 8341-3:2016.

   The scope of this standard covers the pages under the HELLO! TOKYO FRIENDS homepage ( https://hellotokyofriends.metro.tokyo.lg.jp ) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's official website.

3. Identified Issues and Response Strategy

   Following the 2024 inspection, the following improvements have been identified.
   For pages created after the establishment of accessibility guidelines, we will ensure compliance with JIS standards. Additionally, we will gradually work on revising already published pages. Furthermore, we will continue regular verification to maintain and enhance accessibility.

   • Some content with list-like representation or function lacks list elements. (Level A: 1.3.1)
   • In certain areas where content is hidden in expandable sections, users must reverse focus to operate the closing control, preventing sequential content viewing. (Level A: 2.4.3)
   • Some areas lack defined roles. (Level A: 4.1.2)
   • Some areas lack descriptions of their open/closed state. (Already addressed post-inspection) (Level A: 4.1.2)
