Tanabata is a traditional Japanese event held every year on the night of July 7, filling the hearts of everyone who looks up at the night sky with romance.
On this night, Orihime and Hikoboshi — two separated lovers — cross the Milky Way to reunite once a year. People celebrate by writing wishes on colorful paper strips called tanzaku and hanging them on bamboo branches, believing this helps their dreams reach heaven and come true.
This time, we will hold a seasonal event themed around the bittersweet and beautiful legend of Tanabata!
Enjoy collecting treasures inspired by Tanabata and transform into Orihime and Hikoboshi with cosmetic items while surrounded by beautiful decorations and illuminations befitting the occasion.

<Point① Enjoy the area decorated for the Tanabata Festival while collecting new treasures！>
Seasonally limited, the LOBBY, MODERN TOKYO, TAMA＆TOKYO ISLANDS, EDO TOKYO, RETRO TOKYO, and FUTURE TOKYO areas will be adorned with beautiful bamboo branches and lighting decorations in celebration of Tanabata. Under the mystical Milky Way, let's dream of the reunion of Orihime and Hikoboshi and make wishes upon the stars together.
In addition, new treasures have been added to each area. They are inspired by bamboo branches decorated with tanzaku—colorful strips used during Tanabata to carry wishes to the sky. The colors of the tanzaku are different in each area, making every place special.
<Point② Dress up as Hikoboshi with cosmetic item!>
We have added Hikoboshi's clothes as a new cosmetic item, which can be obtained from the SHOP.
Once you obtain the item, you will learn the secret behind why Orihime and Hikoboshi were separated.
Wearing the Hikoboshi costume will surely make your wishes reach the stars.

When it starts:

What kinds of quests:
- Find all the added Tanabata Festival seasonal event treasures.
- Complete three test drives in the FUTURE TOKYO area!
- Buy five cosmetic items from the SHOP!
- *The start date and time of the service may change due to system reasons.
How to obtain items:
- Enter "HELLO! TOKYO FRIENDS" and click on the "FREE LIMITED UGC" icon. (The icon is in the button group on the left of the screen.)
- Check the item quest details and proceed with the game.
- When you have completed all the quests, press the "CLAIM" button.
- The Roblox system item screen will appear, so press the "0" button.
- Exit "HELLO! TOKYO FRIENDS" and check your "INVENTORY" or "Avatar" screen in Roblox to see if you have the item you claimed.
